Guest Chef: A Michelin Star “Taste of Spring” with Andrew Pern

We are very excited to announce that world renowned chef Andrew Pern will be bringing Michelin Star Dining to The Pheasant on the evening of Tuesday 19th March. Andrew has taken inspiration from his born and bred Yorkshire roots to create a sublime Spring Menu featuring the finest seasonal produce from his home county. From Whitby Lobster to Yorkshire grown Rhubarb every ingredient on the menu has been carefully selected to showcase the best of the county at this time of year and it really will be an evening to remember. Andrew Pern: Andrew opened the famous Star at Harome on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors in the late ‘90s and during the past two decades, The Star has won virtually every relevant industry award including a much coveted Michelin Star which he retains today. A pioneer of high end cooking in the more relaxed surroundings of a traditional thatched pub he was a trail blazer for other chefs such as Tom Kerridge at The Hand and Flowers. Andrew’s focus remains on cooking “modern Yorkshire” food made primarily from locally sourced ingredients, such as locally sourced game, North Sea fish and herbs from his own kitchen garden.
