Having recently been described by The Guardian as one of the cosiest pubs in the UK we’re ready to make your December lunch or dinner a joyful, delicious and stress-free occasion.
Settle into the festive atmosphere by taking advantage of one of our 11 beautiful bedrooms which were recently described by Fiona Duncan in The Telegraph as “immaculate and luxurious”. Designed by leading designers Flora Soames and Octavia Dickinson and complete with Bamford Soaps, goose down bedding and Egyptian cotton sheets they’re the perfect end to a great evening!
Our head chef Andy Watts has created a delicious party menu, with plenty of festive favourites using only the best seasonal, locally sourced produce from our fantastic suppliers. With drinks packages from award winning wine merchants such as Berry Brothers & Rudd, from bubbles to espresso martinis, we’ve got everything covered for a treat to remember.

Please note that our Christmas Party Menu must be booked in advance and tables sizes are currently limited to a six. Our standard a la carte menu will also be available throughout December and can be seen on the food page.
Why not take the stress out of Christmas Day and join us with your family for an afternoon of indulgence? A warm welcome by the fire with Laurent-Perrier Champagne and canapés followed by a lunch of only the finest ingredients such as hand dived Orkney scallops, Wiltshire beef fillet and beautiful Scottish Gigha Halibut.

We will be taking lunch bookings between 12pm and 3pm.
T’s & C’s: £95 pounds per person to include a glass of Laurent Perrier Champagne, three course lunch followed by coffee and mince pies. Full payment must be made by 1st December. This is non-refundable.

Join us on New Year’s Eve for a very special night to remember!
Our Head Chef, Andy, will be preparing a bespoke New Year’s Eve menu showcasing some of the menu highlights of the previous year. This will include the best local produce and the freshest of fish delivered to us daily from the market in Cornwall.

Christmas Day: Open for Breakfast from 7.30am until 10am, Lunch 12pm – 3pm. Pub closed from 5pm.
Boxing Day: Open for Breakfast from 7.30am, Lunch 12pm – 5pm, Dinner 6pm until 8pm. Pub closes at 10pm.
Thursday 27th Dec: Normal Hours.
New Year’s Eve: Lunch available 12pm – 4 pm. Dinner from 6pm.
New Year’s Day: Open for brunch from 10am until 5pm and dinner between 6pm until 8pm. Closed from 10pm.
